MANAGING SUSTAINABILITY At the highest level, CMC’s CEO and Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the Board of Directors, are responsible for the day-to-day conduct of the company’s business, including economic, social, environmental and governance aspects. Our Executive Team has reviewed, contributed and approved the contents of this report. numbers in this report for the following reasons: improvements in our data collection process, improvements in data quality and accuracy, changes in industry best practices calculation methods and an overall better understanding of our sustainability impacts. We report on continual improvement in each of the four focus areas in our bi-annual Sustainability Report as a means of demonstrating transparency, accountability and progress, and will report on that progress against the baseline metrics shared in our 2014 report. We have restated some baseline CMCpursues sustainability through four focus areas that were identified in the materiality assessment conducted in 2014. We believe these areas are still the most important to our stakeholders and highly relevant to the long-term success of our business.
